DNA TEST ?

January 2, 2006

Should we take siliva swabs of our children for DNA tests?  Should our children take DNA tests of us? Is there a DNA test that Identitfies us with "OUR FATHER"?

Hey, thanks for your help on #10. An eagle is just as good as any hole-in-one. That won the tour for us. Thanks! So, what do you think I should do about this DNA test on my kids?  Lots of guys are buying those test kits are finding out they are not Dads.  Some kids are finding who their real Dads are and packing a lot of dough from their parents’ guilt trips.  The world is gone mad.  You always said, “Be sure your sins will find you out.”

I’ve got to score one.  You know I can’t afford to play this game any longer.  She holds the purse strings and complains how much this golf game costs. I haven’t had any real money in my pocket in years.  Maybe our kids could make out if they knew their real father. Yeh, maybe this DNA test will prove that they don’t belong to me.  I always knew that back in the month they were conceived, when she missed her period; we had only made love once that whole month. Sure I’m suspicious. You know how angry I get over her cold shoulder.  She doesn’t touch or talk much anymore.  What can I do?  She only needs me to pay the bills.  It is not like she is out blowing it every month. You know how hard it is to make ends meet.  I can’t afford to get out of her sight, even if I had the chance.  It has cost some guys an arm and a leg.  Looks like these DNA tests will cause a lot of pain for a lot of people.  Moms and Dads will have a big fight before this is all over.  We are not all guilty, are we?  We point a finger and there are three pointing right back.  We are to blame for even thinking of stray romances.  Perhaps she can read our mind like those books she’s been reading.  The blame and shame game is all my fault to begin with.  That’s why a lot of kids are testing their Dads to see if they belong.  It’s like that eagle on ten that won the game.  They think they would be justified in finding out their real father.  Look, you can’t leave me now, I’m such a poor shot at this guilt game.  I don’t really need any confessions from anybody, when it is really me that is the guilty one here.

You know we can’t pull this off, this hunt for reality.  You know who I AM and who I belong to.   Thanks again for the great tour.  Without you we would have lost.  I need to get this one down on the score card.  Life may be a bitch, but it is not hell.  So what if she wants to keep secrets and won’t go along with us.  I’m no better to accuse anyone of anything, you know, I need help more than they do.  If the truth were known, we all probably came from the same One; You would make a great Father for my wife and Our kids.  I just wish they could get over it and find You.  Will they ever be just like us walking and talking together the course?  What can we expect – a hole-in-one?  Isn’t Our true DNA Identity in the One who made us in the first place anyway?

Our “FATHER”
I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God!

To reverence God as Father (term of endearment) The “OUR” Spirit says – “YEA” – WE may call Him Our Father – - – “Approach the Throne of Grace Boldly.”
The SON (the Lord Jesus) calls Him Father. . .

                   FATHER
                             *

SON           *                 * HOLY SPIRIT
(Connect the dots, They are All One in the same.)
“Now are WE the sons of God.”
May WE say – “OUR FATHER”?
The Holy Spirit within US says – “YEA”!
Cry out “Abba”, “Father”, Dear Daddy, Papa!
Cuddle up, Snuggle up close.
“He took (little children) up in His arms. . . and blessed them.” (Mk.10:16)

He still embraces His children, no matter how old they are today.
With Childlike trust, WE hug Our Father today.
We are loved, we are loved,
          We can risk loving you,
For the One who loved us best,
          Loves us most!

 Our “FATHER”

“That in the dispensation of the fullness of times HE MIGHT GATHER TOGETHER IN ONE all things in Christ, both in Heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him: IN WHOM ALSO WE HAVE OBTAINED AN INHERITANCE, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will: THAT WE SHOULD BE TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY, who first trusted in Christ. IN WHOM YOU ALSO TRUSTED, after that you heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, which is THE ERNEST OF OUR INHERITANCE until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.” (context Eph.1:10-14)
 “Our FATHER who art __________.”

LOVE SAYS – OUR
